Choir – ‘He who sings once prays twice’

These words of  St. Angustine are a generous pat offered to our two parish Choirs, the English  and the Tamil groups. They not only sing and pray themselves, but also take the whole parish community along with them. They take a lot of time and trouble to practice week after week in order to do justice to what they sing. The compact “Saint Louis Church Hymnal”  in English and the Sunday Hymn cards in Tamil have certainly helped the community singing on Sunday to a great  extent. Our youth are doing an excellent service with their singing at the 11.00 a.m. Mass on Sundays. We intend to add more vitality to the choir by including some of our Catechism children.
